Republic, better known as Albert Pujols, (nicknamed Prince Albert, Sir Albert, Phat Albert, El Hombre, and The Machine) is a Major League Baseball first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals. Pujols is 6' 3" and weighs 230 pounds. (YUM!)

He and his beautiful wife, Deidre, have a foundation to promote awareness, provide hope and meet tangible needs for families and children who live with Down syndrome. (How can you not love this guy?!)
As you may know, Albert and Deidre Pujols have a beautiful daughter with Down syndrome. Since this is so close to their hearts, this Foundation is dedicated to the love, care and development of people with Down syndrome and their families.
